Delhi air quality reflects policy failure

Reacting to the deteriorating Air Quality Index (AQI) in New Delhi, Owaisi said the situation reflects policy failure at multiple levels. He described the worsening air pollution as a serious public health emergency.

He urged both the Centre and the Delhi government to move beyond temporary restrictions and implement long-term, sustainable pollution control measures to protect public health.
