Srinagar/Hyderabad, April 23 (Maxim News): Union Home Minister Amit Shah paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district. He paid tribute to them by placing floral bouquets at the bodies of the deceased at the Police Control Room in Srinagar on Thursday.

Later, he visited the families of the victims. He consoled them. Union Minister Amit Shah asked them about the details of the incident and personally found out about it.

On this occasion, the Union Minister assured them that the government will support them in every way. He made it clear to them that his government will not let those responsible for this incident go unpunished under any circumstances.

On the afternoon of April 22, the Baisaran pain area in Pahalgam was filled with domestic and foreign tourists. Thinking that they were a nuisance, several gunmen dressed in military uniforms rushed at the tourists with guns and opened fire. As a result, the plain area was a place where the tourists had no chance to escape. As a result, 26 people were killed.

Many were seriously injured. The army, after receiving information about the incident, immediately rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to nearby hospitals. On the other hand, the search operation for the perpetrators of this atrocity is going on in full swing. However, Lashkar-e-Taiba has already claimed responsibility for the incident. Intelligence sources have identified Khalid, a top commander of this organization, as the mastermind behind the incident.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who received information about the incident, cut short his trip and returned home. Later, he met with top intelligence officials at the airport and discussed the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. (Maxim News)
