kabul/Internet/Hyderabad, june 10 (Maxim News): Afghanistan said at least 13 people were killed and 14 others wounded in a series of attacks by Pakistan on Wednesday, the government said. The attacks targeted Khost, Kunar and Paktika provinces in Afghanistan, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said. He said 11 children, a woman and an elderly man were killed in the attacks. Pakistan has not commented on the attacks.
It is known that heavy fighting has been going on between Pakistan and Afghanistan since last February. Hundreds of people have already died in that fight. Afghanistan has carried out cross-border attacks in response to the airstrikes carried out by Pakistan. Pakistan accuses Afghanistan of nurturing terrorists who are responsible for the terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Pakistan has said that the Pakistani Taliban, alias Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, is carrying out attacks on the Pakistani system. Pakistan alleges that the organization has links with the Afghan Taliban. But Kabul has denied the allegations. (Maxim news)
