Phone Tapping Case: Telangana Govt. Appointed Special PP

Hyderabad, April 12 (Maxim News): The Telangana government headed by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has taken a key decision in the Phone Tapping Case which has created a lot of furor across the state. In this case, the Government has issued an order appointing senior Advocate Sambasiva Reddy as a Special Public Prosecutor. today.

The police have been investigating the phone-tapping case for the last month. It is known that the police have already arrested former DCP Radha Kishan Rao, former Additional SP Bhujangarao, Tirupatnanna, and former DSP Praneet Rao in this case.

In this order, the government has decided to appoint a special PP to investigate this case in court. Police focused on gathering evidence in the phone-tapping case. Only a few pieces of evidence have been found in this case which has been going on for months. Since this is a high-profile case, the government has appointed a special PP only for this case. The Telangana government has filed a memo in the Nampally court attaching the appointment order of the new PP.

Till now, the police officers were investigated in the phone tapping case, now it is the turn of the politicians. According to the information given by the police officers who were arrested in this case, some politicians were also involved in this affair. Former DCP Radhkishan Rao of the task force is reported to have given information about political leaders during the investigation. Also, it seems that former DSP Praneet Rao and former Additional SPs Bhujangarao and Thirupatanna also revealed during the injury the involvement of political leaders. In this context, after the completion of the police investigation, the authorities have decided to issue notices to the political leaders soon. After giving the notices, the officials will interrogate the respective political leaders. However, it is reported that the officials are working on who to give the notice to first. (Maxim News)
