Hyderabad, March 29: PM Modi thanks Gulf countries for helping Indians return safely during the West Asia crisis. He expressed gratitude for support extended during evacuation efforts amid regional tensions.
He thanked the leadership of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman. Moreover, he said they stood by India during difficult times. He highlighted their role in assisting stranded citizens.
The Prime Minister said Gulf nations enabled evacuation when flights were disrupted. Therefore, thousands of Indians returned home through transit hubs in the region.

He said airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Muscat acted as key evacuation points. In addition, he noted that Oman allowed special permits for transit from Iran. This helped speed up the evacuation process.
He said strong diplomatic ties made the evacuation smooth. Moreover, he stated that cooperation ensured safe return of Indian citizens without disruption.
The Prime Minister also thanked Gulf governments for protecting Indian workers. He said lakhs of Indians and their families remained safe during the crisis. He added that India values this continued support.
