Karimnagar, Nov.2 (Maxim News): Karimnagar MP from BJP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today came down heavily against the local police for manhandling him during funeral procession of TSRTC driver Babu. He also alleged that the police had showed highhandedness and harassed the family members of Babu. He warned that he would move a privilege motion against the police in Parliament very soon. He also said the developments that took place in Karimnagar during the procession of Babu were apprised to the Central government.
He also claimed that the Governor had also sent a report to the Union government on the issue. Sanjay claimed that all the JAC leaders and political party leaders had initially decided to take out a peaceful procession, but the police had disrupted it and took away Babu’s body to perform his last rites by detaining the leaders at one place. Sanjay said police assault on him was an assault on lakhs of people of Karimnagar constituency. He also said the end of the KCR government has begun from Karimnagar town. He also demanded that the State government take action against the police officials, who assaulted him. (Maxim News)
