Police Seize Rs.90 Lakh Unaccounted Money

Hyderabad, March 12 (Maxim News): The sleuths of Commissioner’s Task Force, East Zone Team simultaneously intercepted and apprehended four persons who are carrying illegal money at four different places in the limits of Kachiguda and Sultan Bazar police stations today. They seized total cash of Rs.90,50,400/-, three Cash Counting machines, four Bikes and other incriminating materials from their possession.

The persons apprehended are: Devesh kothari, age: 43-yrs, Occ: Pvt Job, R/o Shahlini Hospital lane, Barkatpura, N/o Bhav Nagar, Gujarat; Bhakti Prajapati, age: 33-yrs, Occ: Pvt Job, R/o near vegetable market, Kachiguda, N/o Dabhala (vi), Maheshana (Dist), Gujarat; Khan Bilal Naseem, age: 27-yrs, Occ: Pvt service, R/o Erragadda, B.Shankar lal Nagar, N/o Baradi (vi), Balia (Dist), U.P.; and Vishal Jain, age: 24-yrs, Occ: Business (plastic carry bags), R/o Joshiwadi, backside of Traffic Institute, Goshamahal.

The police conducted the raids in view of general elections – 2019, as the model code of conduct is in force, the Commissioner of police said in a press note. Police seized from Devesh Kothari a Honda Activa bike and Rs.Fifty Lakhs; from Bhakti Prajapati a Honda Activa bike and Rs.Twenty Three Lakhs; from Khan Bilal Naseem a Hero Passion Pro bike Rs..5,70,400/-; and from Vishal Jain a Honda Activa and Rs.11,80,000/-.

On enquiry they did not reveal any account of the said cash which they were carrying. Hence, police seized the cash and the vehicles, etc. The seized material will be handed over to IT Department for further investigation.
