Pooja Stores Gutted In Fire At Monda Market, Secunderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 19 (Maxim News): A fire broke out in a few shops at Monda Market, Secunderabad on Thursday morning. While the property was gutted, no casualties were reported.

According to fire officials, the fire started at a shop where ‘Puja material is sold. The fire then spread to adjacent shops, including a plastic material shop. A total of four shops were gutted in the incident. 

Due to the presence of combustible material stored at the shops, the fire spread rapidly.  Fire tenders rushed to spot and douse the flames.  The cause of the fire is being ascertained. However, officials suspect the fire started due to a short circuit.  An investigation is going on.  (Maxim News)
