Prompt Action In Wakf Land Cases- Home Minister
Hyderabad, Jan 24 (Maxim News): Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Minister for Home instructed police officials to take prompt and stringent action in wakf Board Land Cheating related cases in the state.
Minister convened a meeting to review the progress of the Wakf Land Cases in his office chambers at Secretariat Thursday.
Mohammad Saleem, Chairman, Wakf Board, Shahnawaz Qasim, C.E.O, Wakf Board, Viswa Prasad, DCP, Central Zone and other police officers concerned attended the meeting.
Mahmood Ali said, there are few cases on Wakf Board Land issues with the Police in the state and directed the police officers to make vigorous efforts take prompt action in such cases to protect the Wakf Lands.
Home Minister said, some people are encroaching Wakf Board Lands by taking the advantage of loopholes in the law or by creating bogus documents and unless and until Police initiates action under available sections of law, promptly, such issues would intensify. Prompt action by the Police would certainly prevent the culprits from encroaching the wakf lands, he said. (Maxim News)
