Public Health at Risk

The racket had not only endangered public health but also eroded consumer trust by using deceptive branding. Officials suspect that many of the arrested individuals are repeat offenders and have vowed to initiate stringent legal action against them under food safety and criminal laws.

“This is just the beginning. Our investigation will continue, and we will shut down every illegal food processing unit that compromises public safety,” added the Commissioner.

Appeal to the Public

Authorities are urging citizens to be vigilant and report suspicious food products, especially those without proper labeling or unusually low prices. Officials assured that repeat inspections will be conducted to ensure compliance and public safety.
