Rahul Gandhi | Congress Leaders Say Verdict Reaffirms Faith in Judiciary
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Misra called the verdict a significant victory for the judiciary. She said Congress had maintained its faith in the judicial system throughout the case.
Congress MP Karamvir Singh Boudh also welcomed the decision and invoked the Constitution of India. He said the party’s fight to protect the Constitution would continue.
Boudh alleged that cases were sometimes registered to disrupt the work of leaders who raised constitutional concerns. He claimed such legal proceedings were intended to distract them from their political work.

The case stemmed from remarks Gandhi allegedly made about Shah in 2018. A special MP-MLA court acquitted Gandhi in the case, prompting Congress leaders to reiterate their confidence in the judiciary.
