Raja Singh Demands Action On Ganesh Idol Resembling CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, Aug 28 (Maxim News): The Goshamahal MLA T. Raja Singh has asked the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad, CV Anand, to initiate action against Mettu Sai Kumar, Chairman Fisheries Federation of Telangana for hurting religious sentiments of Hindus.

Mettu Sai Kumar, had installed a Ganesh idol at Habeebnagar, which bears similarities to Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy.

Raja Singh, said that such actions demean the festival and Lord Ganesh. “With due respect, we understand he is the Chief Minister of Telangana, but he is not a deity for us. Such misrepresentation is hurting the sentiments of the Hindu community. Such misrepresentation is hurting the sentiments of the Hindu community,” said Raja Singh.

He demanded the police take immediate action, stop this, and remove the pandal to uphold respect for religious faiths and maintain harmony. (Maxim News)
