Raja Singh’s wife knocks HC doors for bail

Hyderabad, Sept.6 (NSS): BJP MLA Raja Singh’s wife Usha Bai has approached the High Court pleading it to grant bail to her husband, who was lodged at Charlapally central prison under PD Act.

The BJP MLA was arrested on August 26 under the Prevention of Detention Act. Usha challenged the orders of the police. In her petition, she told the HC that the orders of the HC were against Article 14 and 21 of the constitution. She told the HC that the State government issued GO No. 1651 on August 26 to pave way for the arrest of her husband. She also alleged that the police did not talk about the cases filed against her husband. She also told the HC that the police did not issue any notices to her husband under section 41 A of CrPC .
