Republic Day Celebrations At Raj Bhavan This Year Too

Hyderabad, Jan 25 (Maxim News): Governor Tamilisai Soundara Rajan has expressed extreme displeasure over the attitude of the Telangana government regarding the Republic Day celebrations. Like last year, this time too, she expressed her displeasure over the government’s letter to hold the event at the Raj Bhavan instead at the Parade Ground.

The Governor expressed her grief over the non-celebration of Republic Day in the name of Corona. The government sent a letter to raj Bhavan on January 21 saying that this time too the government has decided to hold the Republic Day celebrations at Raj Bhavan itself and Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan will hoist the National Flag.

The letter clarified that the DGP will attend the program along with the Chief Secretary, With this decision of the government, this time too the Republic Day celebrations will be held at Raj Bhavan. After hoisting the national flag, she will go to Puducherry on a special flight at her own expense. Tamilisai will participate in the Republic Day Celebrations there. (Maxim News)
