Revanth Government’s Major Decision on LRS: Pre-October 15, 2020, Applications to Be Considered

Hyderabad Aug 16 (Maxim News): According to the GO 131 and GO 135 issued in 2020, the government has issued regulations for regularization of illegal layouts and plots in the state.  The order states that LRS is applicable only for layouts registered before August 26, 2020.  The Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development has clarified that the applications received before 15th october 2020 will also be considered.

It is said that although the rules were released in 2020, the examination of applications started in January this year.  It is said that till now 4,28,832 applications have been processed.

While 60,213 applications were approved for LRS.  Rs. 96.60 crores were collected. It is said that about 75 percent of the applications have not been submitted with complete details  “We have already informed the applicants that they do not have the necessary documents.  Unable to upload them.  We could not process them in time.  Applicants have been given an opportunity to submit documents.  Copies of the sale deed, EC, market value certificate and layout can be  uploaded, said the Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration and Urban Development.

Applicants can modify their mobile number, address and other details using mobile number OTP.  help desks have been set up in municipalities, corporations, city development organizations and district collector’s offices, he said,  LRS applicants are advised to visit the help desks for any doubts.
