it seems that the applicants will be given an opportunity to sort out the layouts by March 31. It is reported that the Revanth government has taken a decision to regularize the lay-out except for the lands belonging to Endowment, Waqf, government lands and lands with Court orders. It is said that about 20 lakh lower and middle class applicants will benefit from the government’s decision.

It may be recalled that the previous BRS government has invited applications in 2020 to regularize flats in illegal layouts under city, municipal and panchayat boundaries. It has received more than 25 lakh applications. But due to many petitions in the Courts, the regularization process was stopped.
