Revanth Reddy Removes 54 Chairpersons in Major Shakeup

Hyderabad, December 11 (Maxim News): The new Chief Minister Revanth Reddy of Congress government in Telangana recently canceled the appointments of 54 Chairpersons and Vice Chairpersons in various corporations.

The Chief Secretary, Santhi Kumari, issued a Government Order to undo the appointments made by the previous government of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). This came after the government removed 7 advisors from their positions.

This decision followed the revocation of appointments for seven government advisors.

The affected corporations include Telangana State Agro Industries Development Corporation Ltd, Telangana Rythu Bandhu Samithi, Telangana State Seeds Development Corporation Ltd, Telangana State Co-Operative Consumers Federation Ltd, Telangana State Markfed, Telangana State Co-Operative Oil Seeds Growers Federation Ltd, Telangana State Cooperative Union Ltd, Telangana State Warehousing Corporation, Telangana State Fisheries Co-Operative Societies Federation Ltd, Telangana State Sheep & Goat Development Co-Op Federation Ltd, Telangana State Dairy Development Co-operative Federation Ltd, Telangana State Haj Committee, Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation, Telangana State Urdu Academy, and Telangana State Waqf Board, among others.

Additionally, Telangana State Toddy Tapper Co-operative Finance Corporation Ltd, Telangana State Most Backward Classes Development Corporation Ltd, Telangana State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd, Telangana Grandhalaya Parishath, Telangana State Council of Higher Education, and Telangana State Renewable Energy Development Corporation Ltd are some of the other corporations affected by these changes.

It is known that In Telangana, the Congress won 64 seats with 39.40 per cent votes but the BRS, which won 39 seats, was close with 37.35 per cent votes.(Maxim News)
