RGI Airport Receives Hoax Bomb Threat

The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport received a threat call from an unidentified person who was travelling in a flight took off to Chennai from Hyderabad. On the receipt of the information Shamshabad police and Airport authorities verified and found that the information was incorrect.

According to Prakash reddy, Deputy Commissioner of police, Shamshabad, An unknown person gave a fake threatening call to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport that there is a bomb in Airport today early morning. Due to which Airport authorities stopped all departures and arrivals of the flight from RGI Airport.

However, the information which was verified and found to be incorrect. A person travelling from hyderabad to chennai flight gave fake information. After Airport authorities found that alert was fake, all the flights resumed. Shamshabad police started their interrogation, more details yet to be announced by police.
