Harish Rao alleged that the Congress government was focusing on unnecessary expenditure instead of addressing public concerns.
He claimed that large sums were being spent on infrastructure, events and official facilities while students and farmers continued to raise demands for support.
The BRS leader also questioned government spending priorities and alleged that funds were being diverted for activities unrelated to welfare.
Referring to future elections, Harish Rao expressed confidence that the Congress would face public rejection and claimed the party would struggle electorally.
He further alleged that governments in several states had lost public support and linked those developments to changing political trends.
The remarks came as political exchanges between the ruling Congress and opposition BRS continue to intensify in Telangana.
