Rising petrol, diesel prices: Sabitha asks BJP to mend of end

Hyderabad, May 15 (Maxim News): Education Minister P Sabitha Indra Reddy today said the Narendra Modi government at the Centre was breaking backbone of the common man in the country by raising enormously the prices of petroleum products, including LPG. Reminding that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has been pleading with the people to give “once chance” to the BJP to rule the State, Sabitha said the housewives in the State were urging the Centre to reduce prices of cooking gas and petroleum products.

The ruling TRS party today organized a big dharna at Balapur crossroads under Maheshwaram Assembly constituency protesting against the Centre frequently increasing prices of petrol, diesel and cooking gas. Sabitha Indra Reddy and MP Ranjit Reddy participated in the dharna.

Addressing the protestors, the minister and the MP called upon the people not to allow BJP leaders and activists into their areas until the Modi government reduced the spiralling prices of petroleum products. They also said the people vexed with the spiralling prices would be constrained to pull down the BJP government if it failed to reduce the petrol and diesel prices. They also said due to the constant rise of petrol and diesel prices, prices of essential commodities also doubled due to rising prices of petrol and diesel. Sabitha Indra Reddy slammed the Centre for raising the price of LPG every month making the life of common people miserable. (Maxim News)
