RTC Buses Of TS, AP Will Run Till Borders: Perni Nani

Amaravati, Oct.24 (Maxim News): Andhra Pradesh transport minister Perni Nani today said that the state owned RTC buses of Telangana and AP would be operated till the borders of the two states. He said that they were taking all steps to ensure the availability of adequate number of buses at the borders of the Telugu speaking states.

He also said that they had requested the authorities of the TSRTC to operate the buses till the AP borders. Addressing media persons in the city, Nani said that the situation had arisen due to the non completion of discussions with the authorities of the Telangana state. He said that they would once again hold discussions with the Telangana authorities on Tuesday. He said that the AP people who have settled down in Hyderabad were how waiting to return to their native places to celebrate the Dasara festival and added that although they thought of making the transport arrangements, they couldn’t be taken up due to the non execution of the agreement with the Telangana government.

He said that they had kept their buses ready for those who want to come to AP to celebrate the festival on AP-Telangana border and added that the buses were available at Panchalingala, Garikapadu, Wadapally, Pylon, Jeelugumalli and Kallugudem areas of Kurnool district. He said that they had restored the bus services to states like Tamil Nadu and Karnataka states.(Maxim News)
