Hyderabad, July 12: Samsung India raised the Galaxy M47 5G prices by Rs 8,000, eight days after the phone’s June 29 launch.
The company raised the base 6GB 128GB variant from Rs 25,999 to Rs 32,999. The 8GB 128GB model moved from Rs 28,999 to Rs 36,999. The top 8GB 256GB version rose from Rs 33,999 to Rs 41,999. Samsung has not issued an official statement on the increases.
The M47 offers a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass Victus Plus. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
The phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. The rear camera includes a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra wide and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is 12MP.
Samsung promises six OS upgrades and security ubpdates through 2031. The rapid price rise drew online backlash from buyers and tech observers. Retail listings now reflect the higher prices across all models.
