Hyderabad, Dec 26 (Maxim News): Pakistan, which is struggling with financial problems, is preparing for the general elections. Dr. Saveera Parkash has entered the election ring from Burner district Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She filed her nomination for PK-25 seat.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has recently made a key amendment to mandate five percent women candidates in general posts. In this order, Saveera is contesting from the general seat of Buner district on the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) ticket. She is also the first woman to contest general elections from Buner.
Saveera Parkash History :
Saveera parkash completed MBBS in 2022 from Abbottabad International medical College, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Her father Om Parkash is a retired doctor. For the past 35 years, Om Parkash has been a member of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) led by Bilawat Bhutto Zardari. Saveera also entered politics following her father’s footsteps. At present she is working as the general secretary of PPP women’s wing in Buner.
General elections will be held in Pakistan on February 8 next year. About 28,600 people are contesting in this election, out of which about 3000 are women.
