Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police have strengthened security and traffic arrangements across the city in view of the Ganesh Festival and Friday prayers (Jumma).
Police personnel and Rapid Action Force (RAF) teams have been deployed at several important and sensitive locations to maintain security and ensure the smooth movement of devotees and commuters.
Police Step Up Security and Traffic Arrangements
The enhanced arrangements are aimed at ensuring that Ganesh Festival activities and Friday prayers take place in a peaceful environment.
Police teams are monitoring key locations and are also focusing on traffic management in areas witnessing increased movement of devotees and worshippers.
Authorities have appealed to citizens to cooperate with the police and follow security and traffic instructions during the festival and Friday prayers.
Police have also urged people to remain alert and help maintain peace and public order across Hyderabad.
