Sharmila Demands CBI Enquiry Against KCR And Megha Krishna Reddy On The Collapse Of The Kaleshwaram Project

Hyderabad, Nov 6 (Maxim News): YSR Telangana Party President, Y.S. Sharmila said that the Kaleshwaram project has become a white elephant. She said that the Kaleshwaram project is currently in a situation where it would collapse with a small hit.

She said that the construction of pump houses was also built without quality. She expressed concern that the pillars of the Medigadda barrage are in danger of collapsing. Sharmila alleged that the cost of the project was tripled to give water to 2 lakh acres only (During Y.S. Rajshekhara Reddy’s reign it was designed to give water to 16.40 lakh acres and during KCR’s reign it was designed to give water to 18 lakh acres.

sharmila said that the late Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy Ambedkar Pranahita Chevella project was designed with the estimated cost of Rs. 38 thousand crores to give water to 16.40 lakh acres.  she said that almost Rs. 7 thousand crores were spent during the lifetime of late YSR and the works were done to that extent.  She said that when KCR came to power, the project was completely redesigned, it is alleged that the cost of the project was taken to Rs. 1.20 lakh crores, and the project was redesigned and built only for commissions.  It is said that unnecessary barrages, reservoirs, pump houses and motors have been built even though there is no need. She criticized that the project was redesigned in such a way as to take commissions.

She said that the construction of the Kaleswaram project is the biggest scam in the country.  She said that in the past she had also complained to the Governor and CBI in Delhi about the same matter. However, no action was taken, she questioned if KCr is made the Chief Minister for the third time, more horrors will be seen in the coming days.  She asked the Central government if lakhs of crores of money related to the country are being wasted, and the Center is just looking at it as a watchdog.

She said that BJP has no sincerity towards the people of Telangana. She said that BJP and BRS are fighting each other.  She said that while the MIM party is directly supporting BRS, the BJP is secretly supporting it, which is why Prime Minister Modi has been protecting CM KCR.

She demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi order a CBI inquiry on the Kaleshwaram project against CM KCR and Megha Krishna Reddy. (Maxim News)
