Hyderabad, April 9 (Maxim News): Veteran Congress leader V. Hanumantha Rao today said that YS Sharmila was just the daughter of the former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh state YSR and added that she did not have any other importance other than the status of the Daughter of the YSR.
Speaking to media persons, he raised the issue of the public meeting of YS Sharmila at Khammam and asked the DGP M. Mahender Reddy as to how the permission was granted to her when Covid 19 cases are growing at a fast pace in the state. He also asked the DGP as to how the permission for Sharmila’s road show was given .
He alleged that the state government had denied Permission to the programs proposed by the Congress Party leaders. He asked the police as to why they were showing discrimination towards them. He alleged that Sharmila’s party was being formed to pocket the votes of Andhra people living in Hyderabad and alleged that the ruling TRS and opposition BJP were behind the formation of a political party by Sharmila. He made it clear that Sharmila should do her politics in AP and not in Telangana. (Maxim News)
