Hyderabad, Sept.23 (Maxim News): Finance Minister T Harish Rao today stressed need for development of Siddipet as seed development center in the state. He held a key meeting with seed companies and its representatives in Siddipet.
On the occasion, the minister has said that the government would extend cooperation for the seed companies to set up their units in the new district. Siddipet has favourable atmosphere for seeds development and farm production, the minister said. The government will offer complete help to the seed companies to develop the town as a seed development hub, the minister said.
Harish Rao stated that the government aims to double the income of the farmers. Both the seed companies and farmers will benefit by setting up new units and cultivation in Siddipet, he said.
The minister exuded confidence that the seed companies will come with their plan for the same. (Maxim News)
