Hyderabad, June 29 (Maxim News):: The Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO) Telangana has demanded an immediate high level inquiry into the recent incident at the TMREIS Girls Hostel in Golconda, where a minor student allegedly gave birth inside the hostel premises.
The organisation also sought strict legal action against those responsible and called for institutional reforms to strengthen student safety.
SIO Telangana expressed deep concern over the incident. It described the case as a serious failure of student protection and institutional oversight. The organisation noted that this was the second such incident reported in a TMREIS institution in recent years.
SIO Telangana urged the Telangana government to order a fair, impartial and time bound investigation. It said the inquiry should establish the facts, identify everyone responsible and ensure strict legal action against the accused.

SIO Telangana also called on the government to strengthen safety measures in all residential educational institutions. It urged authorities to improve hostel supervision and enforce child protection protocols.
In addition, the organisation sought better access to medical care and psychological counselling for students. It also recommended stronger institutional safeguards to prevent similar incidents in the future.
SIO Telangana said the safety, dignity and well being of every student must remain the highest priority. It expressed solidarity with the affected student and her family.
