Speaker Suspends BRS Members From Assembly For Two Days
Hyderabad, March 29: Speaker suspends BRS members from Assembly for two days over disruptions during budget discussions. The action followed protests by members alleging corruption and demanding a probe.
Speaker Gaddam Prasad ordered the suspension for today and tomorrow. He said members obstructed proceedings while raising slogans. Therefore, he took action to maintain order in the House.
BRS members demanded formation of a House Committee on alleged scams. However, the Speaker proceeded with suspension without agreeing to the demand. As a result, the protest escalated inside the Assembly.

Several BRS leaders were suspended under the order. These include KTR, Harish Rao, and other MLAs and MLCs. Moreover, the list covers multiple senior party members.
The members had raised concerns over alleged corruption. In addition, they pressed for discussion during budget proceedings. However, the Speaker cited disruption as the reason for action.
Meanwhile, the suspension bars members from attending the House for two days. Therefore, they will remain absent during ongoing sessions. The issue has triggered political reactions in the state.
