SSC Results Out, Jagtial District Tops, While Hyd Hits Bottom

Hyderabad, May 13 (Maxim News): Telangana State Board of Secondary Education (TSBSE) today declared the Class X results. The Board announced TS SSC results -2019 on its official website bse.telangana.gov.in

The results were declared by B Janardhan Reddy, Secretary, Education, at the Secretariat here on Monday.

The pass percentage of regular candidates in the SSC Public Examinations surged to 92.43 per cent this year from 83.78% last year, which translates to an increase of 8.65 per cent. A total of 4,67,859 have passed out of 5,06,202 students who attended the exams this year. Yet again, girls registered a pass percentage of 2.5 percent more than boys. Boys secured a pass percentage of 91.18 while girls got 93.68 per cent. This year, 4,374 schools secured 100 percent pass whereas nine schools registered a nil result.

The Jagtial district topped the list with a pass percentage of 99.73 and Hyderabad stood last with 83.09%. Government schools secured lowest percentage of passes 84.38%, BC Welfare, KGBV, Residential, Model, Social Welfare, Tribal Welfare and private schools secured more pass percentage than State Average. The ZP, Minority, Residential, Ashram, Aided schools and government schools secured less pass percentage than State average of 92.43%. (Maxim News)
