State Achieving All-Round Dev; Will Make “Rythe Raju”–KCR

Hyderabad, March 16 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao said agriculture sector is witnessing steady growth in state because of several schemes like rythu bandhu. The farmers in the state are a happy lot and growing increased crops production. He said as many as 2.25 lakh red gram farmers are getting help to protect crops and get MRP. He further said that the Government will spend any amounts to make the farmers the kings (Rythe Raju).

On the last day of the budget session, KCR listed out several initiatives and schemes for farmers and all round development, in the State Assembly. Telangana is one of the four to five states giving more tax devolution to the centre to rule the country.

KCR also stated that Telangana has offered Rs.2,72,926 lakh crore to the Centre in five years. In return, we got only Rs 1,12,854 cr from the centre. He criticized the Centre for cutting the budget allocations in several schemes for states. This will hamper development of the states and they are not happy, KCR said.

The congress and BJP are playing dramas and coming in the way of growth, he fumed. He found fault with the Congress for talking against liquor sale. If necessary we will hike prices of liquor in the state again, to reduce liquor consumption. The Congress government ignored agriculture, irrigation sectors and poor for pensions.

Generally any government will increase power and bus charges, and the TRS government alone did not do it, he added.

He advised the opposition to stop cheating the youth by their statement. He said the TRS has assured one lakh jobs and implemented it. How many jobs were created in the past 70 years, he asked. He said the opposition should act in a decent manner.

KCR also said that the Government will ensure that no loss was caused to the farmers and the people of the State. He said he would not rest till making the State ‘Sajala, sujala, sasyashamala Telangana’. (Maxim News)
