Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has ordered immediate action after a stray dog attack left Premchand, a speech impaired boy, seriously injured in Hayathnagar. The attack took place on Tuesday and raised concern across the city. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister, who was in Delhi on Wednesday, learnt about the incident and directed officials to respond quickly. He expressed deep concern over the brutal attack and stressed the need to address the growing stray dog menace.

The Chief Minister asked the CMO officials to initiate action without delay. He said the boy must receive the best medical treatment available. Therefore, he instructed the GHMC Commissioner to visit the hospital and meet the family. He also told the Commissioner to assess their needs and provide all required government support. The direction came as officials worked to understand the circumstances of the attack.

Stray dog attacks have been rising in several parts of the city. This incident has renewed public worry about safety, especially for children and vulnerable groups.
