Supreme Court Upholds 4-Year Local Study Rule for Telangana Medical Admissions
Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 1 (Maxim News): The Supreme Court has ruled that four years of locality is mandatory for students who want to study medical education in Telangana. It upheld the GO issued by the state government on the same issue.
The Supreme Court bench headed by CJI Justice BR Gavai issued the verdict, setting aside the orders given by the single judge and division bench of the Telangana High Court earlier. The top court upheld the provision that students must study in Telangana from Class 9 to Class 12. (Maxim News)
