Talasani Releases Poster on World Mosquito Day
Hyderabad, Aug.20 (Maxim News): Animal Husbandry Minister, T Srinivas Yadav today stated that Ronald Ross was great personality as he found root causes and treatment for Malaria. The Minister attended a World Mosquito Day program at Ronald Ross Institute here at Begumpet.
Releasing a wall poster in commemoration of Ronald Ross, the Minister praised him for his services. Ronald Ross created a history by conducting researches to address fevers like malaria caused by mosquitoes.
He relieved entire world from mosquitoes menace by finding root causes.
The Minister said that on Aug 20, 1897 Ronald Ross found root causes of Malaria and treatment. In 1902 it was milestone in health sector to get noble prize due to his services, the Minister said.
Srinivas Yadav called upon people to keep their houses and premises clean and avoid getting mosquitoes problem. We need to follow health protocols and advises on keeping at bay the mosquitoes he urged.
The Minister said that the government is taking all measures to prevent mosquitoes problem.
Malaria causes by mosquitoes from water stagnated areas and nalas and spread to human beings.
The GHMC is working for clean and green environment and people should support by cleaning their houses, he said. (Maxim News)
