Telangana Group-1 Results Released | Hyderabad, Sept. 25: The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has released the long-awaited Group-1 results following the High Court Division Bench verdict.
The final list of selected candidates was announced late Wednesday night, with appointments made based on merit, reservation, and roster marks.
TGPSC Chairman Burra Venkatesham confirmed that candidates have been selected for 562 of the 563 available posts.
One post has been withheld due to a pending legal dispute. He noted that the commission introduced new reforms in the recruitment process, ensuring transparency through the evaluation of marks, reservation policies, and the number of posts available.
Certificate verification for the candidates was conducted in a 1:1 ratio from April 16 to 22. Fresh options were collected from the candidates before the final selections were made. Notably, the candidates who secured the top-10 ranks have all been allotted Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) posts.
Among them, Lakshmideepika from A.S. Rao Nagar, Hyderabad, emerged as the state topper with 550 marks out of 900 in the Group-1 mains.
A medical graduate from Osmania, she has been selected for the RDO post. Dadi Venkataramana from Nalgonda secured the second rank statewide with 535.5 marks and was also allotted RDO.
Jinnah Tejaswini from Hanumakonda, who scored 532 marks, topped in Multizone-1 and has been given an RDO post. She is currently working as a Mandal Panchayat Officer.
Telangana Group-1 Results Released
The final list also includes Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Kritika, Harshavardhan, Anusha, Nikitha, Bhavya, and Sri Krishna Sai in the top-10 ranks.
This is the first time Telangana has taken up direct recruitment for Group-1 posts. Six candidates made it to the top-10 in the General Merit list.
Women candidates showed strong performance, with 25 featuring in the top-50 ranks and 41 in the top-100. The commission reported that 52 candidates scored above 500 marks in the main exams.
TGPSC clarified that selections are subject to the final verdict of the High Court. It also warned that any candidate found to have submitted false information or documents will face immediate cancellation of their appointment.
Out of the total, 258 posts were filled under Multizone-1 and 304 under Multizone-2.
