TGMREIS Hosts LEAP Conference | Hyderabad, April 29 (Maxim News): The Telangana Minorities Residential Educational Institutions Society held the State Level LEAP Conference at the Telangana State Forest Academy. The event marked a major step to strengthen academic leadership and institutional excellence across the state.
LEAP stands for Leadership for Excellence and Accountability Program. The conference focused on better governance, stronger results, and improved academic standards in TGMREIS institutions.
Minorities Welfare and Public Enterprises Minister Mohammed Azharuddin attended the event. TGMREIS Vice Chairman and President Faheem Qureshi and Secretary B Shafiullah, IFS, also joined senior officials and principals.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Azharuddin said education remains the strongest foundation for an equal and progressive society. He said institutions are not just buildings, but places where dreams grow and futures take shape.

Azharuddin praised TGMREIS students for their strong performance in Intermediate Results and JEE Mains 2026. He congratulated students, parents, teachers, and principals for their dedication.

The Minister also thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy for supporting minority welfare and quality education in Telangana. Moreover, he appreciated the leadership of Faheem Qureshi and the administration of B Shafiullah.
Minister Azharuddin urged students to dream big and aim for IITs, NITs, medicine, engineering, and civil services. He also said teachers and principals play a key role in shaping responsible citizens.
Faheem Qureshi said TGMREIS is growing into a model system where equity meets excellence. He added that students from minority communities are gaining the skills to compete nationally and globally.
Further, he said the LEAP initiative will improve accountability, administrative efficiency, and performance tracking. He stressed structured coaching for IIT JEE, NEET, and civil services.
B Shafiullah reviewed the ten year journey of TGMREIS and described it as a decade of strong progress. He said the next phase will focus on deeper quality, higher standards, and stronger accountability.
He urged principals and teachers to embrace innovation and teamwork. He added that every institution should become a centre of excellence.
