Hyderabad, June 3: A TGSRTC bus allegedly lost control and rammed into commuters near the Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) in Secunderabad on Tuesday, leaving a motorcyclist seriously injured.
The victim, identified as Shiva, was trapped under the wheels of the bus following the accident.
According to preliminary information, the bus veered out of control and struck passengers and vehicles near the busy JBS area, causing panic among commuters.
Local residents and traffic police personnel immediately rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation after noticing that the biker was trapped beneath the bus.
Using a crane, rescuers successfully pulled Shiva from under the vehicle and shifted him to a nearby hospital for treatment. Police said he sustained serious injuries in the accident.
Authorities responded promptly and cleared the area to prevent further disruption to traffic.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident.
Officials are examining whether mechanical failure, driver error, or other factors contributed to the incident.
