Some independent candidates are also campaigning against the main parties. The Congress party has taken it seriously after Chief Minister Revanth Reddy directed the MLAs and leaders to win every municipality. The BRS and BJP parties believe that if they maintain their grip on the town, the enthusiasm among the cadre will increase, which will make it easier to win the upcoming assembly elections by retaining the cadre. With this, the leaders of the main parties are intensifying their campaign.

Candidates contesting as councilors are competing to prove their strength and taking people on campaigns. When they go on campaigns, each person is being paid Rs. 200 to 500. In some places, in addition to Rs. 200, chicken and biryani are also being distributed. Some leaders who transport voters to corner meetings are being paid Rs. 5000 to Rs. 2000, depending on the size of their group.

They are baiting the leaders of the rival parties with money and alcohol to create ways to win the elections. It is reported that the candidates are hoping for money to arrange coverts and foil their plans. Even if important leaders who are with the rival candidate do not change their party, they are being told that they are being offered Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1 lakh to those who work for their defeat by passing on information. It is known that not only the voters but also the leaders of the rival parties are being tempted and strategies are being devised to change parties. However, with only four days left in the election campaign, it remains to be seen how many plans the parties will make, who will jump and how the voters will feel. (Maxim News)
