Delhi/Hyderabad, June 10 (Maxim News): Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev has left the party. She has resigned from all party posts. She has written a letter to her chairman CP Radhakrishnan resigning from the Rajya Sabha. This is the second MP from the party to resign in the last week. 53-year-old Sushmita Dev was previously in the Congress party. However, she joined the Trinamool Party in 2021. She said that she is starting a new chapter in her life. Sushmita Dev’s father is famous Bengali leader Santosh Mohan Dev. She was previously made the chief of the All India Mahila Congress Women’s Wing. She was previously made an MP from Silchar, Assam.
It is known that Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Shekar Roy resigned from the party along with the Parliament on Monday. Roy attacked the Trinamool Congress in his press statement. He said that the 15-year rule in Bengal was poor. Roy said in his statement that the newly formed government in Bengal is working hard to implement its goals, and that he welcomes the verdict given by the people of Bengal in the recent assembly elections, and that he is resigning from the primary membership of the Trinamool Congress.
