Hyderabad, Dec.9 (Maxim News): The 72nd birthday celebrations of Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi were held at Gandhi Bhavan here today. TPCC Chief N. Uttam Kumar Reddy cut a cake in the presence of party leaders and workers and distributed it.
Speaking on the occasion, Uttam hailed the services rendered by Sonia Gandhi for the welfare of the people and development of the country. He reminded that Sonia Gandhi had even sacrificed the post of Prime Minister. He also said it was Sonia Gandhi, who brought the revolutionary NREGS and Right to Information Act in the country. “The NREGS Act provided employment to several crore
poor people in the country while the RTI Act has helped several lakh people to seek any kind of public information from government authorities. Her name will be remembered in the history forever,” he added. (Maxim News)
