Hyderabad, Nov.30 (Maxim News): With a goal of winning elections in Telangana and form government, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has formed AICC ‘War Room’ in Hyderabad to evolve suitable strategies to fight and sweep Assembly elections. The war room will be planning and monitoring the field campaigns and digital campaigns.
They set up 200 computers with internet connection and over 100 call centers. Research teams collect information from the village and booth level. Social media experts, designers, multimedia experts and content developers will be working towards forming election strategies. Project developer wing with five members will study local issues in all the 119 constituencies. Two-member tracking wing in the war room would be observing election meetings of Opposition parties and report to the desk and they generate content for the candidates against the Opposition parties. The policymakers department will suggest new and effective ideas and public demands to the candidates.
In the war-room, over 100 people are working round the clock and monitoring the entire movement on social media and manufacturing, designing and developing various methods like cartoons, posters and photographs for elections. Till now, they have reached some two lakh people in Telangana and elicited their views. They are using YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and so on.
Mehroz Khan, AICC member in-charge of war room, said since six months, the TPCC started research to understand the Telangana demography, political developments and came up with centralized ‘war room’ which is supported by AICC. He said they have done quantitative and qualitative analyses and understood each booth, status of the party, political scenario and social issues. (Maxim News)
