TRS Leaders Out To Make Party Men As Directors Of Agri. Crop. Societies: Kisan Congress
Hyderabad, Feb.6 (Maxim News): Telangana Kisan Congress cell chairman S Anvesh Reddy said TRS leaders have turned upcoming cooperative societies’ elections into a complete political platform to make its leaders as the directors of the societies.
Speaking to mediapersons, Anvesh Reddy alleged that the State government had not paid Rs 1,500 crore arrears to the farmers of the Kharif 2019 season. He also alleged that the ruling party was depositing Rythu Bandhu money in farmers’ accounts in view of the cooperative societies elections. Stating that the farmers have become a vote bank in the hands of the ruling party leaders, he demanded that the State government to give away Rs 300 crore dues meant for the payment at six percent interest to the farmers in the State. He also demanded that the State government pay 4 percent interest rate to the farmers towards the interest waiver scheme if it really loves them. (Maxim News)
