Hyderabad, June 19 (Maxim News): Newly-elected MLCs of TRS today took oath of office and secrecy at Council Vice-Chairman N Vidyasagar Rao’s chamber here. Along with Legislature Secretary V Narasimha Charyulu, Vidyasagar Rao administered oath to them on being elected to the Upper House. Those who took oath were: P Mahender Reddy, T Chinnappa Reddy, P Srinivas Reddy and Navin Kumar.
Excise Minister V Srinivas Goud, Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao and other leaders were present. Earlier, the TRS leaders paid tributes at the Martyrs’ Memorial opposite the Assembly. Mahender Reddy extended thanks to the Chief Minister for giving him an opportunity to serve the people. He said he would strive to develop his segment and the State. Dayakar Rao expressed his displeasure at Congress leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka for his false charges on the Kaleshwaram project. The project was being started on June 21 on a grand scale, he claimed. The State government spent huge funds for it to push agriculture production in the State. “KCR is like a Mahatma for completing this great project in just three years”, the ministers said. He also criticized the Congress leaders for obstructing the works despite losing the mandate. (Maxim News)
