TS Assembly Session: BRS MLAs Express Concerns On The Second Day

Hyderabad, July 24 (Maxim News): The Telangana Assembly session commenced its second day with notable agitation from the BRS MLAs. The BRS party passed an adjournment resolution concerning the job calendar in both houses, insisting on a discussion of this issue. In response, BRS MLAs raised slogans in the House. Speaker Gaddam Prasad also took a moment to wish former minister KTR a happy birthday.

Speaking to the media at the assembly media point, BRS MLA KP Vivekananda Goud criticized the Congress and BJP, stating that despite each winning 8 MP seats, they failed to bring even 8 paise to Telangana. He accused the central government of withholding funds and praised KCR for developing the state independently. Goud also alleged that the Center has not provided any funds for 10 years and criticized CM Revanth Reddy for making unfulfilled promises and engaging in political theatrics by meeting with BJP central ministers.

MLA Vivekananda Goud asserted that handling political conspiracies is not new for the BRS party and questioned why both national parties have done injustice to Telangana. He pointed out that if an all-party meeting were organized, the neighboring state of Andhra Pradesh would advocate for its rights, unlike the Congress party, which did not support Telangana’s rights.

BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy condemned the Union Budget:

BRS MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy condemned the Central Government’s budget, claiming it gravely neglected Telangana. He expressed disappointment that Andhra Pradesh received Rs. 15,000 crores, while Telangana received nothing. He criticized MPs from the national parties for failing to secure any funds for the state and praised KCR as a protector of Telangana. Reddy vowed to oppose the Congress and BJP, as well as reject the six guarantees given by CM Revanth Reddy and criticized the practice of making grand promises without follow-through. (Maxim News)
