TS Local Bodies Members Get 30% Hike in Salaries

Hyderabad, Sept.28 (Maxim News): Telangana Government today increased the honorary salaries of members of the local bodies in the state. The government took a decision to hike 30 percent of honorarium to them and issued related orders.

As per the fresh orders the members of the local bodies and Sarpanches of village panchayats will get benefits. With this the ZPTC and MPP members will get Rs 13000 a month now against the previous Rs 10000 amount. As a result, MPTCs and Sarpanches will get Rs 6500 against the previous Rs 5000 a month, according to information.

The Panchayat Raj Department has issued orders in this regard with the consent of the finance department. Finance Minister T Harish Rao said that the honorary salaries of the local bodies’ members were increased. He extended thanks to the chief minister and panchayat raj minister Dayakar Rao on the same.
