Amaranath and Indian Journalists Union (IJU) secretary Y. Narender Reddy have demanded that the Andhra Pradesh government should withdraw the GO immediately as it was intended to frighten the working journalists and the media houses.

The Statement said, “It is unfortunate that instead of rectifying the mistake committed by the earlier government, the present Andhra Pradesh government further extended powers to departmental secretaries.
