Abu Dhabi/Internet/Hyderabad, April 1 (Maxim News): The ongoing attacks between the US, Israel and Iran are causing serious headaches for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). On the one hand, the Iranian attacks and on the other hand, the economic difficulties due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz are disturbing the UAE. In this context, there are reports that the UAE intends to help the US in the process of forcibly opening the Strait of Hormuz (UAE Iran war).
Iran has been attacking the UAE and other Gulf countries in response to US-Israeli attacks on its territory. This has already severely damaged the tourism sector in the UAE. On the other hand, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz has stopped oil exports and caused economic problems. On Tuesday, Trump expressed his anger at allies for not helping his attacks on Iran. He warned that if those facing problems do not come along, it is not America’s responsibility to open the Strait of Hormuz (UAE US alliance with Iran).
The UAE is reportedly considering standing with the US in the wake of these developments (Strait of Hormuz crisis). The UAE is also proposing to form a coalition of US, European, and Asian military powers to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE is reportedly pushing for a United Nations Security Council (UNSC) resolution authorizing military action against Iran. The UAE is reportedly considering providing military support to the US if Russia and China block this resolution. (Maxim News)
