Delhi/Hyderabad, Sept 5 (Maxim News): The Lok Janshakti Party filed a complaint against Hindutva influencer Swatantrya Bhardwaj, alleging that the name of their party president Chirag Paswan is being used for wrong purposes.
In the attack incident that took place at Jantar Mantar in July, Bhardwaj attacked the father of a CJP worker. Bhardwaj was arrested by the police on Friday in connection with that incident. The complaint said that Bhardwaj has no link with Paswan or their party. The Lok Janshakti Party has said that the party stood by the injured worker during the CJP protest. The police have said that they will take action on the complaint. However, no case has been registered till now.
The legal cell of Lok Janshakti has registered a complaint at the Parliament Street police station. In an interview, Bhardwaj said that he had beaten up the father of an activist during the CJP protest and that he had received 60 stitches, but he was not punished. The police arrested him after the video went viral. An FIR was registered against Bhardwaj under the POCSO and SC-ST Acts. There are photos of Bhardwaj with Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary, Delhi Minister Kapil Mishra, and Union Food Processing Minister Chirag Paswan. In his complaint, Chirag Paswan alleged that Bhardwaj had misused his name and the names of other leaders and demanded action against him. (Maxim News)
