Upset over not being married, the 29-year-old commits suicide
Hyderabad: A young woman, who was reportedly upset over her ill health and not able to find a suitable groom, died, allegedly by suicide in her house at Old Mallapur in Nacharam on Monday.
According to the police, T Ashwini (29), a private employee, was not married yet and her efforts to find a suitable alliance were unsuccessful. She was also taking treatment for health issues. As she was alone, she is suspected to have slipped into depression and worried that her ill health was the obstacle to her marriage. For the last few days, she was spending most of the time alone. In the early hours of Monday, she is suspected to have hanged herself to death from the ceiling fan in her bedroom in the early hours.
The neighbours found her dead and informed her relatives. They suspect Ashwini was depressed over not getting married and ended her life.
The Nacharam police are investigating.
