Hyderabad: US Reward on Mojtaba Khamenei and other Iranian officials has been announced by the United States government amid the ongoing conflict with Iran. The announcement came after reports that Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was elected as the Supreme Leader of Iran following the death of his father in a US strike.

However, the United States has refused to accept Mojtaba Khamenei as the Supreme Leader. Therefore, the US government made a major announcement regarding a reward linked to Iranian leaders. According to the announcement, the US has offered a reward of 93 crores of Najran for information related to Mojtaba Khamenei and several senior officials of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

US announces reward through Diplomatic Security Service

The announcement was made by the US Rewards Division of the Diplomatic Security Service. Officials said the reward was declared on Friday as part of efforts targeting key figures associated with Iran’s leadership and security establishment.

Reports indicated that the US has announced a reward of 10 million dollars for the elimination of leaders connected with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. The list released by the United States includes several prominent names linked to Iran’s administration and security system.

Among those named in the announcement are Mojtaba Khamenei, Ali Asghar Hejazi, who serves as the deputy chief of the office of the Iranian Supreme Leader, and Ali Larijani, who is described as the chief of Iran’s security. The reward offer is part of ongoing measures taken by the United States during the continuing conflict with Iran.

Conflict between US and Iran enters third week

Meanwhile, the ongoing war between the United States and Iran has entered its third week. Reports stated that the situation intensified after military actions carried out earlier this year.

It was reported that on February 28, US-Israeli forces carried out attacks on Iran. Following these developments, several strategic locations across the country were targeted during the operations.

US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said that around 15,000 sites in Iran have been targeted so far. He also stated that at least a thousand targets are being destroyed every day as part of the operations.

According to him, the pressure from these actions has significantly reduced Iran’s retaliatory capability. He said that Iran has reduced missile and drone attacks by about 90 percent. The developments reflect the growing tensions and continuing military confrontation between the United States and Iran.
